This is the office of the Hon. Governor of the Sabagaramuwa Province who has been appointed by H.E. the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as his representative for the Sabaragamuwa Province. Governor’s Office of the Sabaragamuwa Province is vested with the responsibility in respect of the matters pertaining to appeals, matters pertaining to approvals for all service minutes and schemes of recruitment, appointments and all other related matters as per the powers vested in the Hon. Governor in terms of the provisions of the 13th Amendment to the 1978 Constitution and the Provincial Council Act No. 42 of 1987
